: 白丸を「日の丸」と「お盆」に見立て、下部の「箸」で日本を食す。お盆に置かれた箸の状態は、これからの食事の始まり、静謐で穏やかな日本的空気を表現しています。

2009年1月24日～28日、フランス・リヨンで開催されたシラ国際外食産業見本市内にて、2回目の出展となったジャパンパビリオン“ヘルシー・アイランド・ジャパン”は、“招待国日本”にちなんだイベントを多数行い、世界各地のメディアの注目を一身に浴び、大盛況のうちに会期を終えました。10団体21企業を数えた出展社さまのブースでは、個性に富んだ製品のデモンストレーションが展開され、熱の入った商談が活発に行われました。

シラ国際外食見本市を日本色に染めたヘルシー・アイランド・ジャパンは、今後もより強まるであろう日本食ブームの情報発信源となるよう、2年後の開催に向けて準備を進めてまいります。2011年にまた皆様とお会い出来ることを心よりお待ち申し上げております。

With not less than 21 special exhibitors, numerous cultural events (kagami-biraki, martial arts, calligraphy, dances, magic…), internationally famous Chefs’ performances, audience-gathering sushi shows and even an official “Japan Day” on 24/01, Japan and its National Pavilion “Healthy Island Japan” (HIJ) were the hub that couldn’t be ignored during the last SIRHA (24-28th January 2009).
SIRHA, which is the biggest International Hotel, Catering and Food Trade Exhibition in Europe, is said to be the place where are initiated tomorrow’s trends about Culinary & Hospitality Worlds. Our exhibitors, who featured fine & truly innovative products kept having straightforward business talks, while many journalists and private visitors were showing up to satiate their curiosity towards the latest Japanese hot releases presented at HIJ.
